Damala sits alongside Djarrka, holding our cultural and community work.
Purpose
Damala creates space for cultural, community and legacy work. It supports projects, partnerships and initiatives that are led by community and grounded in long-term outcomes.
Damala is named after the Yolngu eagle dreaming — soaring high, seeing the past and the future, and holding the bigger picture. It reflects a way of working grounded in connection, continuity and care.

Governance
Damala governance is guided by cultural authority, community and long-term vision. A Board of Directors is being established to support this work.
